BIG WIDSTOK BIG SUCCESS AGAIN

The Big Widstok 2008 was another great success for Save Gillies Hill, the group campaigning to protect the historic and environmentally vital hill on the south side of Stirling. Hundreds of locals – and many from further afield – enjoyed six-plus hours of excellent music provided by Konrad, Bad Bugaloo, the Lobsters, Ryan ‘n’ Charlie, Out of the Blue and Section D, who displayed both the depth of musical talent in the Stirling area, and the depth of support for the Gillies Hill, as all gave their services free. A collection from the delighted audience was also testimony to the continued support for the campaign.

Where next in that campaign will be number one item on the agenda at the group’s very important meeting in the Village Hall on Tuesday 19th August, at 7.30: all supporters, old and new, please attend.

September (TBA):  Coffee  and Information Morning
October/November (TBA):  The Trybe in concert
